What are the Producer’s responsibilities?
The Web Producer is responsible for a number of sites. As the sites you will be managing are magazine sites, you will work closely with an external content provider (print media) on editorial issues and be the key point of contact between them and the business.
Key Web Producer responsibilities include content production, project management of site enhancements, upgrades or revamps, scoping and driving projects to deadline, creating further opportunity within the wider business for cross selling of the sites and leading the push for unique content for the sites.
In addition, you will be responsible for site traffic analysis, working with sales teams on content integration and implementation of online advertising campaigns.
Who are you?
Candidates for this Web Producer role are required to have at least 3 years experience in publishing/media. Essential for this role is online experience, editorial knowledge and an exceptional ability to liaise across internal and external stakeholders, bringing together relevant parties to successfully achieve your objectives.
The ideal Web Producer candidate for this role will have knowledge and interest in popular culture, and an understanding of how to engage the target audience. Other Web Producer responsibilities include the production of editorial plans and site traffic analysis.
