Our client is one of the most respected unified organisations in the inner west and due to their constant growth they need new members to join their team. We are currently looking for a Windows based System Administrator to manage their medium to large scale systems and handle helpdesk escalations within the internal and external network.
ESSENTIAL SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a degree in computer science or a closely related field will be highly regarded – but is not essential.
- A candidate who has at least 2 to 3 years experience supporting a medium to large scale helpdesk networks
- MCSA certified or have some MCP's.
- Two years or more working experience with Windows 2000/03, Active directories, LDAP, SQL 2000, data back up and recovery.
- Three years or more using your skills to administer server hardware - including a good knowledge of SCSI, tape drives, auto loaders, network interface cards and configuration of these systems.
- Experience working with SAN technology.
- Advanced knowledge of IP Routing Protocols.
- A valid NSW drivers’ license.
An honest Systems Administrator candidate with clear direction, someone who believes in building positive working relationships, possesses exceptional English communication and written skills, outstanding interpersonal skills and the capability of translating complex technical terms into simplistic English in a helpdesk or IT environment will be highly regarded.
