Studying In Australia.
Each year thousands of students attend collages and universities in Australia and many go on to live and work permanently in Australia. Students coming to study in Australia must apply for a student visa which does not give the student the right to work in Australia. Student visa holders wishing to work in Australia must apply for a separate working visa which entitles the holder to work no more than 20 hours per week.
As well as traveling to Australia to study and improve their English language skills, more and more students from across the world are recognising that Australian universities and educational institutes are at the cutting edge of career orientated and practical training and offer the kind of courses and skills based education that is in great demand by Australian employers.
As well as offering state of the art career orientated courses to international students, Australian educational institutions, who must meet strict Federal Government regulations to provide courses to international students, also provide English language courses where students can learn essential language skills in an English speaking country with the aid of comprehensive language libraries.
One of the prime factors behind Australia’s booming economy is the dedication and commitment to continual higher education and with the extensive technology based learning initiatives undertaken by many of Australia’s educational institutes it is easy to see why students from all over the world are choosing Australia to continue their education.
