The company
As one of Australia’s premier media companies, our client is a household name here in Australia. Expanding their operations and ramping up for complete market domination, this role focuses primarily on the development of new portals for one of the most famous sites in the online space.
The role
As Producer, you will understand how best to engage an online audience and utilize the latest technologies to drive online traffic.
Working closely with the Product Manager, your responsibilities will include the overall management of the site. This involves management of new website builds and other online initiatives such as video – liaising with external parties and internal teams such as design, editorial and technical to drive projects from concept stage through to completion.
The Producer will manage editorial staff and develop creative standards for the site. You will create editorial plans for a variety of online categories and work with the editorial/content teams to set and maintain the flavour of each category, as well as understanding the user experience to ensure content meets user demands and the site is generating maximum traffic.
In addition, the Producer will liaise with third parties such as content providers, strategic partners and affiliates. You will work with relevant contacts within the Australian business to drive traffic between other internal portals.

This role requires a Producer with at least 2 years experience in online. You may come from an agency or traditional media background, what is key is high level organizational skills, demonstrated management experience and a deep understanding of the editorial production process. You will have experience creating editorial guidelines and business planning.
