Head of Digital Advertising Strategy-$120-130K

One of the nation’s most successful and online savvy online media organizations is seeking a Head of Advertising Research & Strategy to provide the guidance and strategy behind the success of one of the most competitive portals in the online space.

Working closely with the Sales Director, the Head of Advertising Research & Strategy will be responsible for analysing current advertising strategies and trends and transforming their research into compelling sales strategies for the online advertising sales teams to utilise as they go to market.

The Head of Advertising Research & Strategy will also be managing the research & planning team and ensuring that all client & sales tasks are delegated to the right areas and delivered on time.

In this challenging role, the Head of Advertising Research & Strategy will also be analysing the market and liaising with the sales teams to identify current areas for improvement as well as identifying opportunities for the development of new advertising inventory and sponsorship opportunities.

The ideal Head of Advertising Research & Strategy will need to have a strong background in an Advertising Research & Strategy role within a high volume advertising environment. Online knowledge is not necessary but Advertising industry knowledge in print, radio, TV & outdoor is as the Head of Advertising Research & Strategy will be helping to the sales team to build their proposals based on a sound understanding of the entire advertising industry and will need to know where advertising dollars are being spent in the Australian market at the moment.

This role will ideally suit someone from a media planning & buying background or a media advertising research background with people management experience who are looking to move their career online.
