A true media giant in the online space is seeking a commercially savvy, ambitious, and self starting General Manager to develop a whole new division in their already successful portfolio of portals.
Reporting to the overall CMO, the GM of Direct Marketing will be responsible for developing the business case for and implementing a number of direct marketing systems and services to be utilised across the organisation with the view to aggressively increasing consumer subscribers and the revenue generated from the same.
In this all encompassing General Manager role, the GM will initially be managing the current DM portfolio whose newsletter membership tops the $2.5 million mark. The GM will be responsible for growing the subscriber database and ensuring that the newsletter portfolio is an attractive advertising option for the sales team to sell. The GM will also be required to develop new revenue streams through the development of new products and services. Utilising an advanced data warehousing product, the GM of Direct Marketing will also be ensuring all the various business units have the most accurate and relevant data available at the touch of a button, with in depth consumer and subscriber profiling enabling the various sales teams to build targeted advertising sales cases to empower their sales process.
Another key element to this General Manager role will be the management of all internal emarketing and data systems, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of the data and direct marketing industry.
