My client is one of the most sought after full service agencies in Sydney and has recently received substantial new work from a fantastic existing client. This influx of work means they need to quickly grow their team.
The Account Director Role
As an Account Director, you will be liaising with the client to ensure that the relationship is 100% happy at all times. This includes creating briefs and budget agreements with the client, relaying this information to the creative team, and delegating work among your client services colleagues. You will be working on projects that are DM focused, including mail-outs, press ads, and catalogue inserts, and also some online work.
As Account Director, you will be working in a team of about 12 where you will be responsible for managing and mentoring the account managers involved in this account. As an Account Director you will be conducting performance management reviews and goal assessment of the staff.
As an Account Director, you will also be responsible for the budgetary requirements including the overall account profitability, client budget, and expense reporting and campaign profit and losses.
The Account Director Candidate
You Must Have:
- At least 5 years experience in a similar Account Director role
- Excellent Communication skills and the ability to effectively run a great team
- Experience running brainstorming sessions, campaign development, and directing creative execution
